TOFW

This past weekend I went to Time Out for Women with Kristen and Sue.  There were several other people that went to, from Auburn, Oxford, Farmington.  What an inspiring weekend!  It was so awesome!  We heard from several authors and musicians for three hours on Friday night, and then on Saturday for about six hours.  We heard Michael McLean, Michael Wilcox, Brad Wilcox, Chris Williams, Mercy River, DeAnne Flynn, Emily Freeman and Julie deAzevedo Hanks.  They all had such great messages, but the most powerful was that of Chris Williams.  He lost his wife and two of his four children in a horrific car accident.  The amazing thing is that he reached out to the teenage boy who caused the accident and forgave him.  Another message I loved was from DeAnne Flynn.  She said, "Listen, Look forward, Laugh often, and Love deeply."  She talked about each one, and gave examples and stories.  On Friday night, we went to find our hotel, but the road was unmarked, and our GPS kept saying to turn into a parking lot.  That didn't seem right, so we kept going past it.  Anyway, we finally found it, and stayed in a room with Siiri Stinson.   It was so fun to catch up with her.  We talked and stayed up way too late, but it was so fun.  On the way home from the conference, Sue, Kristen, and I stopped at Olive Garden for supper, which was the perfect ending to a great weekend.
