Yesterday, I went to my great aunt June's funeral. She was Catholic, so it was held in a Catholic church. It wasn't very personal at all, with only one short reading from her granddaughter that added anything personal. The hymns were beautful, though. I found I could sight read them well enough to sing along. Aunt June was a really sweet lady. Whenever I saw her, she always seemed so happy to see me. When I was in the hospital with my broken leg, she would come in once in a while on her lunch break (I think she worked at the hospital) with two ice cream bars. We would visit while we ate them. Sweet memories!
