Vacation: Sunday through Tuesday

We got back on Sunday from out vacation to North Conway. It was a really fun, relaxing vacation. We all loved it and ranked it among the best so far. Here's what we were able to do:

On Sunday, the fourth, we checked in. We loved the units that we had. The building was only three years old, so everything was really nice. Steven and Lil met us there, and we all had supper and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Ashley, Megan, Lil and I went to find Ashley a new bathing suit, because she really wanted a new one. We didn't have any luck, though. We met Dan, Steve and Nathan downtown where we watched the fireworks. It wasn't a great show, but it made it feel like the fourth of July.

On Monday, Mom and Dad came down and we all went to ride the Cog Railway to the top of Mount Washington. That was really fun and interesting. The view was so beautiful! We stopped at Pizza Hut on the way back and then all of us girls hit the shops. We spent quite a while trying to find Ashley a modest bathing suit. We finally did, and we also introduced Ashley to the Aeropostale outlet. She and Megan loved it! They spent all their money at that store, but I didn't care because they were so happy. They couldn't get over the deals. Mom had to leave partway through the shopping spree, and after Ashley and Megan spent all their money, we brought them back to the resort so they could go swimming, and Lil and I headed out again. It was fun girl time. When we got back, Lil and I were going to use the hot tub, but it was too late. It closed at 10:00 and we got home at 9:45, so we just soaked out feet in the jacuzzi in Amber and Ashley's bathroom. We laughed so hard, though, when we couldn't figure out how to turn the jets off. We kep waiting for it to turn off, but it kept going. We thought we were going to have to spend all night in there. Finally, Ashley showed us how to turn it off.

On Tuesday, we went to Whale's Tale water park. That was really fun. It's a small park, but lots of fun. There were slides, a wave pool, a kiddie pool, a heated pool, hot tubs, etc. Steve and Lil spent most of the day with us. Lil and I laughed and laughed over my inability to get in a tube. We had a great time. All the kids loved it, too. Nathan loved the kiddie pool, and Megan and Ashley went off together to do all the slides. Everybody had a good time.
